As a member of the International Programme Committee, you will organize the yearly International Programme. The International Programme is a yearly trip to a fascinating destination abroad. During the trip, participants will visit companies and explore the local culture to get the complete picture of both the foreign business culture and the daily life culture. In previous years, destinations of the International Programme were Seoul, Taipei and Beijing.
As chairman of the International Programme Committee, you will guide the committee in the right direction. You will have to consider whether all committee members are carrying out their tasks and what still needs to be done to organize the International Programme. You lead the meetings, make the agenda’s and set the deadlines for the whole committee. Next to that, you will be the contact of the participants and give updates to both the board and the Raad van Commessarissen.
Treasurer & Travel Coordinator
As the treasurer of the International Programme Committee, you are responsible for the financial matters surrounding the International Programme. This means that you will be responsible for both the budget and realization. For example, within the budget and realization, you will have to take into account the travel expenses, costs of the hotel, the various activities and the participation fee. You will also fulfill the function of Travel Coordinator, which means that you will be responsible for creating the day-to-day programme of the trip.
As External Affairs of the International Programme Committee, you are responsible for contact with companies. After choosing which companies might be interesting for your event, you will approach them by sending an email or calling recruiters to convince them to let you go on a company visit.
In 2021, the International Programme will be organized by Julian Jager (Chairman), Daphne Verwoest (Travel Coordinator/Treasurer), Casper de Vries (External Affairs) and Maya Camstra (External Affairs).
