On Thursday the 15th of March, the halfyearly Master/PhD-seminar will be organized! Two PhD-students will shorty present their researches and there is the opportunity to ask all your questions regarding the researches. Adriana Garcia will explain her research "Does Technical Assistance Improve Welfare of Farmers with Access to Microcredit? An Empirical Study in Bolivia" and Dennis Prak will tell more about "Forecasting and inventory control with compound Poisson demand using periodic demand data" in the field of operations research. 

This seminar is meant for third year bachelor students or older, and all the master students. You can learn more about doing a PhD, but it is also a great opportunity to explore the different sectors of econometrics! 

The seminar starts at 15:00 PM in 5419.0102. After the seminar a social will take place at Zernike for the attendees of the seminar! Of course, these drinks are on VESTING.

It is not mandatory to enroll for the event - you can simply show up. However, if you will be there, it will help us if you enroll so we have more information regarding the number of attendees!
